hollow is the one hundred nineteenth page on Komaeda Love Mail. It features Mod 428.

Description[]
The game takes place in an empty part of a café. Across from the player in a booth sits Mod 428, also known as "Komaeda". Clicking him will result in him talking to the reader, starting the game. Soft music begins playing and people can be heard talking in the background. The game's dialogue appears in a textbox at the bottom and can be advanced by clicking the arrow beside it. All of Mod 428's lines are voiced.

Mod 428 greets the player and asks them how they've been recently, as he heard things weren't going well for them. He lets the player know that he, as well as the other clowns, are always there for them. He describes how he'll drive over in his clown car and bring all their best friends so they can have a good time. He tells the player they need to lay back and clown around sometimes.
The game's end
Mod 428 reiterates that he loves the player, asking once again for them to let him know if they need anything. He ends the conversation with a final request: "take my bloon". When he says this he holds up a blue balloon. The background freezes, changing to dark shades of red and black, and the audio stops.
Hovering over the statement shows the word "deceit" and clicking it or Mod 428 will take the player to the page of the same name.

On March 26, 2017, teaser screenshots of /hollow were posted. That night, the page was released through a post saying "i love you." After this, Mod 18 posted art relating to the page. Another post was made saying "i just want to take his bloon, i just want to take his fucking bloon so badly i could cry".
In 2018, a confused person asked why they need to take Mod 428's bloon. A mod explained that if they don't take the bloon he will die. When the person continued to be confused, the mod relented that Mod 428 is immortal, but begged them to still take his bloon. Later that year, KLM reblogged a video of someone dressed in Komaeda cosplay and lip syncing the audio from the page.
When the page was originally released, it did not link to /deceit. Instead, when Komaeda was hovered over the words "take my bloon" appeared. Clicking him would take one to a song titled "BABALOONEY JINGLE". This was changed some time in 2017.[1][2]
The page was linked to through the blog's drop down menu as "Clown Café" for the duration of the clown theme in 2017.[3] A link to /hollow was re-added when the blog changed to its eighteenth theme in July 2020, this time being titled "Click For Free Clowns".[4] When the blog went on Doctor Komaeda Watch in March 2021, the link changed to "Talk to One of Our Licensed Clowns".[5]
